The Opportunity

We’re looking for a confident and collaborative Business Intelligence Analyst who has experience working with complex datasets and multiple sources of data. This role requires the applicant to have experience in transforming data into metrics, automated reports, and dashboards providing actionable insights to improve decision-making at all levels of the business. To be successful in this role, you must have strong data management skills and communicate directly with executive leadership.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business partners to understand their needs and help develop dashboards, visualizations, and solutions tailored for them.
  • Master Data Sources: Get to know various data sources like transactional databases, data warehouses, internal tools, and external integrations.
  • Own and Improve Data Quality: Take charge of our data quality and integrity. Identify issues proactively and coordinate fixes.
  • Maintain Data Tools: Oversee the Power BI environment and other data tools and infrastructure.
  • Develop Reports: Create reports, dashboards, and tools using SQL, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • Analyze Operational Data: Use EMR and other operational data to solve business problems and improve strategies for better financial results.
  • Create Metrics: Develop and replicate enterprise-wide metrics using raw source data.
  • Leverage Data Analytics: Use data analytics and modeling to test, validate, and track the ROI of strategies and initiatives.
  • Document Processes: Keep detailed documentation of processes, architectures, and code.
  • Perform Additional Duties: Take on other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, or 5 years of experience in dashboarding and visualization development.
  • Database Experience: Knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Programming Skills: Experience with a high-level scripting language (Python, Perl, C#, etc.).
  • Reporting Tools: Proficiency in various reporting and analytic tools (PowerBI strongly preferred).
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven experience working with business units to gather needs and create solutions.
  • Industry Experience: Background in healthcare data and analytics.
  • Project Leadership: Ability to lead projects with multiple stakeholders of varying sizes and complexities.
