Job Summary:

The Valve Body Administrative Coordinator supports the entire Valve Body department by providing administrative and clerical support to include filing, reporting, and assisting with special department projects. The person is also responsible for assisting in training and documentation for the department.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Daily planning/scheduling/prioritizing of Department requests and help Team Leader/Group Leader if requested.
  2. Primary scribe (Notetaker) for all related Department meetings. Responsible for electronic records of meeting minutes.
  3. ANC Valve Body Department Document creation, modification, and filing (Book-keeping) upon request. Assist with document (Incl. Working Drawing) filing/storage as requested.
  4. Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and special request reports to A/M/Manager regarding all dept. operations goals and objectives. (At A Glance report, Short Stop reports, Scrap report, etc...)
  5. Schedule/ help facilitate special projects and training for manufacturing members/leaders.
  6. Attend, Develop, and/or deliver training material and classes upon request. Contribute / participate in department projects and activities.
  7. Perform a variety of clerical duties upon request including but not limited to laminating, posting alerts, scanning various forms, filing, line documentation copies upkeep and other items as required.
  8. Communicating with multiple departments to ensure cross functional meetings are conducted regularly.
  9. Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results
  10. Maintain special project upkeep for the department such as Green Zone manual updates, documentation/WD updates, TPC posting/filing, Deviation filing, sort maps, gauge control and inventory control
  11. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Accountabilities:

  1. Provide administrative and clerical services to enhance the effectiveness of the Valve Body department
  2. Coordinate and assist with department programs including but not limited to Green Zone, inventory control, and documentation.
  3. Accurately report on department initiatives to support department goals and objectives
  4. Provide detailed meeting minutes for all Department meetings

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. A minimum of a high school diploma and 5 years of experience in an manufacturing environment; An Associates Degree in a related program and 3 years of experience is preferred
  2. General knowledge of Manufacturing principles - safety, continuous improvement, quality, understanding blue prints and standard work instructions
  3. Data Reporting - Ability gather data from multiple sources to create and maintain reports that will assist management in decision making
  4. Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  5. Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  6. Strong computer Knowledge- MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint all required.
  7. Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  8. Speaking - Talking to others clearly to convey information effectively.
  9. Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people.
