Reports To: Assistant General Manager

General Description: The Front Desk Administrator serves as the primary Front Desk Representative and is responsible for all Front of the House services at 5000 Boardwalk Condominium Association (5000) as may be necessary. The Front Desk Administrator acts as the interface between the owners and residents, the public, vendors and the 5000 management team assuring a comfortable lifestyle for the residents of the community.

Location: Ventnor City, Atlantic County, NJ

Type of Position: We have both parttime and full-time positions available for both weekdays and weekends.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Front Desk Administrator in a hotel, rental property, or other capacity. Condominium and/or HOA experience is a plus.

Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Benefits: Health insurance, vision, paid vacation, 401k, paid PTO, paid sick leave, paid bereavement time, and six (6) paid holidays.

Qualifications:
  • The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • The Front Desk Administrator must have the ability to sit for long periods of time, stoop, stand, bend to pick-up packages and lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
  • The Front Desk Administrator position requires the Front Desk Administrator to be able to crouch and reach forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine to handle packages.
    • Ability to read, write and understand English is mandatory.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Good Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of BuildingLink is a plus.
    • Good written and verbal communications skills.
    • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
    • Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing.
    • Always project a positive attitude with a Can Do attitude while performing all Front Desk Administrator duties.
    • Follow the dress code and always present a professional image.
    • Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities: The Front Desk Administrators responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following:
Desk reception responsibilities and visitor control.
Professionally answer the front desk phone with an at your service attitude.
Responsible to know about and share 5000 community initiatives, events, forums, and other objectives as advised by Management.
Guest parking control and towing.
Package processing, storage, and distribution.
Key control and access to controlled common areas of the building, such as, but not limited to, access to the recreational facilities.
Knowledgeable about all community amenities.
Monitor the service elevator areas.
When an emergency arises, the Front Desk Administrator must understand and be able to implement the building emergency procedures in a timely manner.
Work with the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments concerning after hour service needs.
Enforcement of the 5000 Rules and Regulations as outlined in the Resident Handbook.
Other related duties and special projects as assigned as well as outlined in the Front Desk Manual.
