We are seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Business Development to join our team and drive strategic growth within our organization.

The Director of Business Development will collaborate closely with the CEO to manage and grow Marvin’s health system pipeline. The ideal candidate will have been in Business Development for at minimum 5 years, with experience in Healthcare, Hospital Systems or Behavioral Health systems. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking abilities, attention to detail, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development. They will have experience building and managing a sales pipeline, integrating feedback and learning into the outreach process. 

The ideal candidate will also have experience working and reporting directly to Sr. Hospital/Hospital System leadership (C-Suite).

While this position will be remote, there is an expectation for periodic travel to headquarters in Marina Del Ray CA, as well as travel to partner facilities and healthcare systems throughout the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
  • Engage in day-to-day sales operations, meeting with health system executives, setting sales targets, and developing strategies to exceed sales goals.
  • Identify and establish partnerships and strategic relationships to expand Marvin’s reach.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and market trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance Marvin’s visibility and reputation.
QUALIFICATIONSQualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Senior Business Development role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Minimum 5 years of Business Development in Healthcare, Behavioral Health or other Healthcare related industry. The ideal candidate would have 8 years of experience in the role.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive organizational change and achieve measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex issues, make data-driven decisions, and solve problems creatively.
  • Strong ethical and professional integrity, with a commitment to upholding the organization's values and standards.
