Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train new housemen to uphold hotel standards and regulations, ensuring proficiency in all housemen duties and customer service skills.
  • Coordinate table settings and arrange buffets to enhance guest dining experiences.
  • Perform cleaning duties in public areas, including elevators, glass surfaces, and planters, to maintain a pristine environment for guests.
  • Support the general upkeep of our large 4-star hotel alongside a small team of housemen, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises.
  • Operate commercial washers and dryers to sort, wash, load, unload, and fold laundry efficiently.
  • Store, issue, and distribute clean linen after meticulous examination to ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
  • Maintain cleanliness in various office and residential buildings, participating in handywork tasks such as moving furniture and floor maintenance.
  • Remove and wash bedding and sheets from beds, addressing any room-related issues promptly and operating washers and dryers as needed.
  • Exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when catering to VIP guests.
  • Replenish amenities in guest toilets to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Run errands such as taking laundry to cleaners and purchasing groceries as required.
  • Other duties asked.

 

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Capacity to handle physically demanding tasks and operate commercial laundry equipment.
  • Respect for confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with VIP guests.
