Job Overview:
NIC Industries is seeking a full-time (in house) Customer Support Specialist who is a highly motivated, value-driven individual who honors company values and is dedicated to self-improvement to help achieve company goals and create a world-class customer experience. All job functions will be in accordance with company policies, strategies, and goals.
Essential Job Functions:
(Applicant/Employee must have the ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.)
- Customer Support Specialist must be a subject matter expert within all NIC divisions (Cerakote, Prismatic Powders, and Auto & Home).
- Communicate with customers via email and phone to provide solutions for common application errors and finish defects.
- Utilize company software to process replacements, refunds, and returns and log pertinent information for data collection.
- Conduct training classes with employees for all NIC divisions (Cerakote, Prismatic Powders, and Auto & Home).
- Develop written content for website media and facilitate content publishing.
- Cross-train within all divisions to increase hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with NIC Departments to assist with advising, troubleshooting, or executing NIC objectives.
Skills & Abilities Required:
- Excellent Writing Skills: must be able to compose professional emails and articles using proper grammar.
- Excellent Communication Skills: must be able to communicate with colleagues and management effectively.
- Excellent Teaching Skills: must be able to articulate ideas and job knowledge to groups of colleagues or customers.
- Excellent Customer Service Experience: must have experience interacting with a wide range of domestic and international customers.
Additional Skills Preferred:
- Automotive expertise in mechanics or detailing
- Artistic credentials in painting, drawing, designing, etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time daily.
