Job DescriptionJob Description

We have an immediate opening for a unique role that balances two key business objectives: in-office administrative operations and first level helpdesk assistance for IT. The Administrative Helpdesk Associate role is an ideal fit for someone with entry level experience in computer support who is open to front desk operations and administrative activities. Applicants must have completed or are nearing completion of a technical degree in business administration, or IT helpdesk or support related programs. Great candidates will have some experience in IT support through personal interest, study, volunteer work, or previous roles.

Description

  • Provide remote and in-office technical assistance for issues related to computer software and hardware including installation, modification, and repair.
  • Support computer systems utilizing Microsoft core products.
  • Support mobile devices utilizing Android and/or iOS.
  • Create and close helpdesk tickets.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Develop and maintain training manuals and SOPs.
  • In-office support for operations staff
  • Create and maintain file systems, both electronic and physical
  • Correspond with stakeholders professionally
  • Event and training registrations on behalf of staff members
  • Mail distribution
  • Maintain office supply inventory and organization
  • Data entry into accounting or administrative systems
  • Handling of confidential, sensitive, records
  • Driving within ~200 miles as needed for business operations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a two-year associate degree in either business administration or IT helpdesk, or related studies
  • Helpdesk or IT repair experience preferred
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11 familiarity
  • Familiarity with computer repair and software maintenance concepts
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of customer service and ability to work with staff members personally or remotely.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and team skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to handle challenging employees and/or situations.
  • Ability to lift at least 25lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide your own transport
  • Ability to drive distances up to 3 hours as needed
