Ascentron (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director to join their team remote from the Seattle Area The Business Development Director will be responsible for the development and execution of the Target Account Strategy, the direction and coordination of customer relationship management and sales process.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Director:

  • Coordinating pursuits, building customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and win new business.
  • Plan and assist with market analysis, strategic development, manage the execution of the strategy, and monitor progress toward organizational objectives.
  • Provide analysis and strategic leadership enabling the organization to understand important quantitative and qualitative factors in the development of business and portfolio analysis, key customer needs, and other overall market and technical environmental analysis.
  • Maintain management of capture and proposal activities, including pursuit status, teaming decisions, pricing and win strategies.
  • Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods.

Qualifications of the Business Development Director:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in marketing, communication, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales related role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of production and inventory control, material and capacity requirements planning and master planning.
  • Experience in managing customer revenue growth and commercial management/execution.
  • 25% domestic travel.
