Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President of School and Community Programs (75%) and the Vice President of Public Engagement and Education (25%), including managing calendars, preparing for and coordinating department meetings, drafting meeting agendas, organizing materials for distribution, confirming attendee availability, and room reservations
  • Support activity tracking, data entry, and information sharing amongst all members of these departments and with other departments at the Child Mind Institute
  • Manage data, record-keeping, and departmental interactions with Finance, Human Resources, and Legal
  • Assist department staff in communication and coordination with school and community partners, peer and professional organizations, funders, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to new program development through participation in team meetings and efforts to build relationships with and engage community partners
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Professional demeanor and attitude; ability to interface with senior leadership, clinicians, and staff
  • Self-starter and team player able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Thorough, accurate, and conscientious about assignments while demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Prior experience in an administrative role preferred
  • A passion for the Child Mind Institute’s mission and working in school and community settings
