CORE Foodservice has a Director of Chain Sales opportunity for our Midwest Division
Qualified Candidates can live in the following areas: IL, OH, MI, MN, Western PA.
Position Purpose
Manage and lead by example a team of Chain Sales people, selling to multi-unit, commercial Platinum Partners. A “hands on” approach is required along with utilization of all resources made available, most specifically our CRM system. Assist in developing sales plan targets on behalf of all direct reports by way of an inspection and approval process as well as execution against all assigned sales targets by client. Manage all aspects of the sales process through CRM.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Manage the development of division specific Platinum Partner portfolios and assure that all associates have a complete portfolio.
- Actively manage Team Leads and Sales Associates to guarantee established sales metrics are being met by using our CRM tool.
- Review weekly Sales Team performance and call data to ensure goals are being met.
- Provide feedback and coaching to Sales Team based on weekly reporting.
- Selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, and counseling of team members in your Market
- Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain company culture within your Chain Sales Team.
- Establish and foster relationships with client peers. (Region Managers)
- Evaluate and ensure that sales resources are accurately aligned to the requirements of the business. (Distributor dedication, street resources, etc.)
- Manage local distribution relationships in coordination with Team Leads within the Market.
- Effectively manage expenses as communicated to achieve profit plans.
- Review and approve outstanding items in BambooHR for direct reports
