We are seeking a Crisis Support Specialist I to enhance our Mobile Crisis Response Team, providing immediate assistance to individuals across various age groups who require urgent support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Swiftly respond to mental health emergencies and evaluate the needs of the individual
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective assistance
- Provide short-term therapeutic interventions and follow-up support
- Complete essential assessments and documentation
- Link clients to available community resources
- Engage in collaborative suicide prevention strategies
- Support after-hours crisis situations as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in counseling, social work, or a related discipline
- Preferred experience in mobile crisis intervention
- Possession of a valid driver's license and insurance
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
