GREAT PAY

This diagnostic medical sonography role offers a competitive base salary of $35 - $45 per hour, complemented by commission based on productivity. We are also currently offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus

We will also provide training on general and vascular sonography.

HOURS

Operating within standard business hours (Monday -Friday, 8 am - 5 pm), Videre provides diagnostic services to private medical practices without weekend, holiday, or on-call obligations.


DAY-TO-DAY FOR A GENERAL AND VASCULAR SONOGRAPHER

As a General and Vascular Sonographer, you play a pivotal role in the diagnostic process. You meticulously prepare examination rooms, ensuring optimal functionality of imaging equipment for precise results. To address patient concerns and ensure comfort and comprehension, you offer comprehensive explanations before procedures. Skillfully positioning patients for imaging, you facilitate accurate visualization of abdominal organs, thyroids, and kidneys, while conducting studies for deep vein thrombosis (DVT), arterial conditions, and venous reflux.

Your responsibilities extend to reviewing images, assessing quality, and promptly identifying abnormalities. Collaborating closely with radiologists, you analyze results and provide accurate summaries for diagnosis. Upholding the highest standards of patient care, you maintain meticulous records, ensuring diagnostic excellence.


WHAT WE NEED FROM A GENERAL AND VASCULAR SONOGRAPHER

  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) credential
  • 1+ years of experience (preferred)
