Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation: Ensure readiness for examinations by verifying equipment functionality, managing inventory, and reviewing patient schedules and physician directives.
- Patient Interaction: Alleviate patient concerns by clearly explaining procedures, addressing inquiries, and providing necessary assistance during examinations.
- Image Acquisition: Capture precise images by expertly positioning the transducer, monitoring the display, and adjusting settings to optimize image quality while identifying and correcting any artifacts.
- Data Recording: Document examination findings by generating graphics and calculations related to cardiac measurements, comparing results to established norms.
- Assistance in Procedures: Support the setup of vascular labs, obtain patient consents, and assist in procedures such as venous ablation and sclerotherapy as required.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold patient safety by adhering to established protocols and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Professional Development: Enhance professional knowledge through continuous education, networking, and participation in relevant organizations.
