ASI is the largest global provider of technology B2B services for the $26.1 billion promotional products industry (branding and marketing). With 25,000 clients in 53 countries, our mission is to inspire, inform, and empower our clients' success every step of the way.

ASI currently has a hybrid work model. This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

In this role, will be responsible for selling advertising space to a pre-determined base of supplier clients. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising in our website's programs, e-newsletters, email marketing service, ad placements on our various websites and research tools and all magazines, and catalogs.

The Account Executive will report to the VP, Supplier Sales and will join our supplier sales department and manage an approximately $700,000 territory.

Expected on target compensation of $90,000+, with a base salary plus commission at budget.

Position responsibilities include:

  • Successfully selling advertising solutions to supplier businesses within the promotional products industry.
  • Drive advertising sales while meeting and exceeding all daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas.
  • Develop client relationships with a consultative sales approach.
  • Travel to clients to present advertising solutions best suiting their business needs.
  • Participating in ASI tradeshows and events
  • Communicating sales confirmations to customers and maintaining detailed records of each customer call.
  • Taking the initiative to read and self-study in order to effectively make recommendations and promote services to ASI prospects and clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-4 years business-to-business, advertising/ media sales experience required.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to articulate the value of advertising products to business decision makers.
  • MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic knowledge of Internet.
  • Experience with sales databases, Sales Force is a plus.
  • Open to travel 15-20%.
