Position Summary:

The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for executing various tasks related to timely and accurate shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, fulfilling orders, approval and payment of invoices, and coordination of billing through Accounts Payable. This role will work closely with Fourteen Foods Operations management team and various support departments restaurants to ensure requests are fulfilled and outstanding customer service is provided at all times.

Part time at a max of 20 hours per week. This position would be day hours 8 - 4p/ 2 to 3 days per week.

Essential Functions:

Functional Objectives (75%)

  • Maintain optimal layout for products for quick picking, packing, and shipping
  • Organize, prioritize, and fulfill orders to ensure store delivery is timely and accurate
  • Maintain inventory levels and tracking mechanisms for products on hand
  • Maintain shipping/mailing accounts, postage, products (i.e. boxes)
  • Skilled at occasionally operating a scissor lift
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate fulfillment log and coordinate billing with Accounts Payable

Internal Partnership (25%)

  • Support store requests for needed items
  • Work with support departments to maximize shipping efficiencies and reduce shipping expenses
  • Work with operations management to achieve warehouse objectives, budget, etc.

Competencies

  • Basic computer skill and working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • knowledge of basic data entry procedures and spreadsheet management
  • Ability to communicate via email, telephone and in-person professionally and effectively while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organization and prioritization
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, spreadsheets)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and data entry

Experience & Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma required
  • 2+ years warehouse, shipping & receiving and/or order fulfillment experience

The work is typically performed in a warehouse and occasionally, in a store or office environment, with moderate noise. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, and talk and/or hear. A warehouse team member can also experience extended periods of standing, walking (sometimes more than 2 miles per shift), sitting, bending, and talking and/or hearing. They are frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. Team members must be able to lift and/or move up to 50-pound items and are asked to seek a team-life approach for items heavier than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. At times, this position can require computer monitor use for up to 100% of work time.

Hazards:

The hazards are only those present in a normal restaurant setting or while traveling by car on Company business.
