Warehouse Operations Specialist

As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction, including:
- Compiling customer orders from inventory and organizing them on pallets or shelves, or transferring them to designated areas.
- Labeling materials with necessary identification using the appropriate methods.
- Constructing and delivering assemblies and other projects tailored to customer needs.
- Documenting and communicating project specifications and completion status to customers and Account Managers.
- Verifying that all part numbers, quantities, and customer addresses are accurately recorded on purchase orders.
- Opening bales, crates, and other shipping containers.
- Tracking the amounts of materials or items received or distributed using the designated computer systems.
- Assisting in the physical inventory counting process.
- Weighing and counting items for distribution purposes.
- Receiving and unloading shipments, checking in merchandise, and reconciling purchase orders with sales orders.
- Interpreting customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
- Transporting materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other specified locations.
- Sorting and organizing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined order.
- Processing requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing them to the shipping area.
- Maintaining a safe and accessible warehouse environment for all colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with assembly experience.
- Ability to utilize basic tools for assembly and measurement tasks.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software is preferred.
