The Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in our mission to ensure we are expanding the company’s customer base and ensuring its strong presence. The position’s primary role is responsible for generating revenue through the Sales Recovery Program and is assigned an individual sales performance goal. In addition, the Director of Sales will mentor a team of Comfort Advisors (Sales Professionals) to guide them to achieve sales goals, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and aggressively implement a sales plan.
  • Execute a well-established sales process to effectively engage prospects and close deals.
  • Evaluate competitors for offerings and analyze market share and trends.
  • Lead and motivate a team of comfort advisors to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the team is well prepared to assess customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales reports such as KPIs, closing rates, leads, and follow-up of the team of comfort advisors.
  • Provide necessary training and coaching to improve the team’s performance.
  • Personally connect with customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest HVAC products and technologies to explain their benefits clearly and accurately to customers.
  • Attend and actively participate in business unit meetings and training sessions to keep skills and knowledge at the forefront of the industry.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for business growth and enhance customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to inspire and lead others to attain company goals.
  • Three to five years of sales leadership experience.
  • Two or more years of HVAC sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision and effectively use independent judgment to prioritize work.
  • Ability to create a positive experience for customers.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Working experience with CRM preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record per company standards.
  • Travel required within the assigned area.
