We are seeking a Compliance Specialist with a thorough knowledge Tax Credit laws. The position requires experience working with real estate funding programs, financial eligibility determination, or other funding programs. Experience working on-site at a Tax Credit community is preferred.

The Job: Our Compliance Specialist works with prospective residents as well as current residents supporting the overall property operations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Tour prospective residents and complete intake paperwork for affordable housing leases
  • Complete annual re-certifications for current residents
  • Assist in completing annual reporting for affordable units
  • Assist current residents with leases, maintenance, or questions
  • Help maintain a neat office/clubhouse- vacuum, clean windows, etc.
  • Assist with retention, resident parties, and renewals
  • Emails, phone calls, and keeping detailed track of information

The Details: Our Compliance Specialist should have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Affordable Housing Experience
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Suite and Yardi
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of LIHTC and its compliance requirements LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit).
  • Stay current on changes/modifications to various funding programs utilized for Affordable Housing.
  • Prepare required reports and ensure accurate and timely completion of all reports requested from oversight agencies, investors or partners.
  • Prepare for and participate in the Management and Occupancy Reviews conducted by various oversight, funding, and investment partners at the property sites.
  • Next Gen/ Denver Host data entry.
  • Manage Waitlist and offer units in compliance with the policy.
  • Lease-up experience is preferred
  • Bilingual is a plus.


Schedule: Monday- Friday | 9 am - 6 pm.
