Job DescriptionJob Description

Leading specialty distributor of building materials is seeking a District Sales Manager who can improve sales, produce a higher level of market share and profitability, and improve operational efficiencies across multiple branches. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for directing a staff of location managers and outside sales representatives and implementing and monitoring their sales quotas.

Job Requirements
  • Sales Management experience in building materials distribution.
  • Proven track record of managing a successful sales staff.
  • Ability to ensure branch's meets or exceeds the service expectations demanded by each customer.
  • Strong, positive personality to communicate with upper management, staff, and sales staff and clients at all levels.
  • Must be a well rounded sales manager who embraces new ideas, brings new ideas to the organization to impact the companys success.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Prefer experience managing multiple locations.
  • College degree preferred, but experience more important.
