RESPONSIBILITIES:


Essential Functions -

 

  • Coordinate and proctor exams, including online and placement assessments.
  • Provide support to the Outreach Center and the Early College program, including, but not limited to, the student enrollment process, assisting with the input of course and student data, and processing purchase orders.
  • Request, receive, and track testing materials from instructors.
  • Maintain a confidential and quiet testing environment.
  • Implement test environment security procedures and monitor test takers.
  • Assist with the delivery of approved test-related accommodations (e.g., serve as an official reader and/or scribe)
  • Provide quality customer service and support for students, customers, faculty, staff, and Outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain records of all testing fees and proctoring documents for various reports
  • Process book sales and HutchCC merchandise sales/rentals through the Outreach Center’s Campus Store and maintain daily business functions.
  • Assist and support HutchCC partners, including Workforce Development, Adult Basic Education, and others utilizing the Outreach Centers.
  • Assist with coordinating events, publications, and correspondence through the Outreach Centers.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, brochures/flyers, bulletin boards, displays, mailings, and social media/website.
  • Assist with the faculty evaluation process and classroom support.
  • Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete your position’s responsibilities.
  • Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.

 

Secondary -

 

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Outreach Specialist with input from the Associate Director of
  • Travel to other HutchCC locations as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • The ability to practice customer service, maintain confidentially and work independently in a student-centered
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Professional phone and receptionist skills, including experience with MS Office
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with a diverse population and work as a team member.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand or sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time; perform hand motions for keyboarding, operating office equipment, answering telephones, and other office equipment; Excellent verbal, written and listening skills; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer, and to operate additional office equipment; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; use appropriate judgment and to apply tact and courtesy in difficult situations; understand words and respond effectively and appropriately; Attentive to detail, accurately follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, Sedentary/Indoor work environment with a substantial amount of keyboarding required.

HOURLY WAGE and STATUS:

 

The hourly rate of pay is commensurate with qualifications as determined by HutchCC administration.  This full-time staff position is 12 months annual, benefit-eligible, at-will, and nonexempt.
