POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Developer will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to support Blueprint University's growth. This role is crucial in driving revenue and building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development to create mutual value for our organization and clients.

OBJECTIVES

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Promote Blueprint Universitys services to prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new business opportunities.
  • Track and report on business development activities and progress towards goals.
  • Represent Blueprint University at industry events to network and generate leads.
  • Support marketing strategies to attract new clients and partners.
COMPETENCIES

  • Strong business understanding and knowledge of market trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven success in business development or sales.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail.
  • Networking: Actively participate in networking events to promote Blueprint Universitys services.
  • Ambassador Role: Promote our mission and services in all professional interactions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Experience in education or supporting entrepreneurs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and business development tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel for business development activities and events.
