Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: 2400 Huntington Blvd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Classification: Non-Exempt

Travel: 5%

The Sales Administrator will support the program managers with sales order-related matters and maintain order processing system.

Essential Job Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Primary scope of position includes but is not limited to:

  • Create quotations in response to technical requirements as defined in a statement of work
  • Support the order process for factory machine orders, parts, service, and engineering
  • Enter customer information and sales order data into the appropriate system
  • Work closely with program managers and support quotation revisions and modifications
  • Conduct sales order review meetings to ensure quotation accuracy
  • Review and understand technical specifications to generate compliant quotations
  • Enter completed sales orders into the CRM system with accurate detail for management approval
  • Manage open projects and sales opportunities in the CRM system
  • Run reports as necessary to support management requests
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales support or similar role

Work Environment:

A general office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Physical Demands:

Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.

Periodic: Standing, walking, bending, and stooping.

Occasional: Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects.
