Administrative Assistant

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in a dynamic organization? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Salvation Army Central Territory.
Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Business Administration Section, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the department. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Business Administration Section, including composing correspondence, maintaining calendars, and answering phone calls.
- Assist with the preparation and follow-up of documents for the National Business Administration Conference and other commissions as assigned.
- Manage the Business Section's mailbox, directing or completing items received that are time-sensitive, require special handling, or are high-priority correspondence.
- Perform general clerical duties, including emails, photocopying, faxing, scanning, mailing, filing, and retrieving corporate documents, records, and reports.
- Update the USC Minutes Database with new and revised minutes and inform Unit Commanders, Divisional Financial Secretaries, and others of details regarding changes in the minutes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a complex, executive office setting with an associate's degree or 5 years of experience in a complex, executive office setting with a bachelor's degree.
- Exceptional clerical skills, including typing, filing, transcribing, and taking messages.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and TSAMM.
