The Human Resources (HR) Director is responsible for employee engagement, talent retention, succession planning, total rewards, and HR systems in dealerships, Wholesale Express, and the RumbleOn corporate office. The Human Resources Director will develop and drive human resources strategy in partnership with the Chief Legal Officer, RODs, and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) with emphasis on creating cohesion within the HR team to enhance the success of employee acquisition, management, and engagement. Position reports to Chief Legal Officer.

Job Responsibilities

 Lead and manage human resources department including HRBPs, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development

 Maximize the employee experience through partnerships with RODs and HRBPs to improve and sustain talent attraction, talent management, and talent engagement strategies through measurable data

 Analyze people metrics and put in place best practices with General Managers based on unique needs of office and agreed-upon corporate standards

 Develop and improve dashboard to measure people analytics

 Analyze people metrics to design HR strategy impacting acquisition, management, and engagement

 Drive employee engagement through meaningful employee experiences in partnership with Corporate and Field leadership

 Manage and lead total rewards strategy to impact measurable improvement in benefits adoption while balancing value-based healthcare tactics

 Set expectations aligned with business strategy to manage accountability with the Human Resources team including Benefits, HRIS, Learning & Development, and HRBPs.

 Lead strategic planning and assign project management resources to long-term HR improvement projects (system migration, process documentation, performance improvement, etc.) aligning HR strategy to business strategy

 Provides guidance and direction on policy interpretation, performance management/coaching, succession planning, safety and talent development

 Identify and resolve elevated employee relations issues including employee conflict, harassment/discrimination, wage/payroll discrepancies, interpersonal conflicts, safety audits and training

 Assess, develop, and prioritize training needs utilizing the ADDIE model including rigorous needs analysis, involvement from stakeholders, and measurements of success

 Ensures data integrity of HRIS information and confidentiality of medical records

 Acts as point of contact for HRIS vendor relationships

 Oversee the overall operations of all human resource functions within the company

 Remain up to date on HR trends and a comprehensive knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, performance management, and federal and state employment laws

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Engaging interpersonal & group presentation skills with the ability to influence executive leaders
  • Proven conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in HRIS, ADP preferred
  • Ability to delegate, prioritize and organize work of multiple direct and indirect reports
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Education and Experience
  • 7-10 years’ experience in human resource management with experience in project management
  • 5+ years’ experience functioning as HR generalist/business partner
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology or similar field. Master’s degree preferred
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or HRCI Senior Professional in Human Resources (HRCI SPHR) strongly preferred.
