Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCloudFit Software is seeking Cloud Command and Control Engineers to join our growing Command and Control Center team in beautiful Downtown, Lynchburg, VA.

CloudFit Command and Control Engineers (CCEs) protect our customers’ interests 24x7x365 as they backstop our CloudFit Software Automation. CloudFit CCEs engage with customers in critical situations, CloudFit CCEs must be comfortable working with our executives in a fast paced environment. CloudFit CCEs will interface with customer's business, development, and operations via phone, tickets, and email.

We match the CFS queue for any alerts/incidents that come through, and when they come through we execute that protocol that was put into place, such as creating bridges/PIR’s, communicating to the On-Call, as well as doing some initial investigations on our own.” – Charlie Gebetsberger, Command & Control Engineer at CloudFit

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor / backstop automation 24x7x365
  • Engage customers via phone, email and tickets
  • Provide Command and Control leadership on Major Incident Bridges
  • Interface with customer and CloudFit executive management both proactively and reactively
  • Support customers via phone, email, and tickets

Some nice haves (but not required):
  • Cloud and DevOps certifications
  • Proven track record of leading customers digital transformation though cloud services management
  • Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Services or Computer Science Degree (or certificate)

Current Federal Security Clearance or ability to obtain (US Citizenship required) 

Shift time and schedule for this role can include any of the following times:
*This position will likely be 2nd or 3rd with shift differential*

Frontend Team:
  • 1st Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 7am - 5pm
  • 2nd Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 4pm - 2am
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 12am - 10am
Backend Team:
  • 1st Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 7am – 5pm
  • 2nd Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 4pm - 2am
  • 3rd Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 12am - 10am
The salary range for this role is $14.42 - $24.04 + benefits, & perks. 

Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s final level and location. Also, the range represents salary only and does not include our total rewards package.
