Furthermore, this role contributes to the development of self-service reporting tools and supports a data-driven culture by providing critical insights to key stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions. Additionally, this role will help oversee and enhance our CAO data governance framework to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial data across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data, utilize existing analytical tools, and build key reporting to enable decision-making.
  • Modify existing data tables, ensure data quality, and implement key data governance across our data sets.
  • Help manage data-related projects across the organization.
  • Support the development of a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with Finance's objectives, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of CAO data across various systems.
  • Drive self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Perform regular assessments of data quality, identifying areas for improvement, and working with relevant stakeholders to address data quality issues and enhance overall data reliability.
  • Work closely with various teams across CAO to identify data requirements, understand business processes, and define data architecture components that effectively support our data governance needs
Skills:
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive feedback.
  • Understanding of data visualization and data management principles such as database/table management or data modeling
  • Technical skills such as SQL or Python
  • Understanding of ETL concepts, including knowledge of data integration patterns and tools
  • Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with analytical tools and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of data tools like Tableau and Thoughtspot.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, Agile, Scrum, and sprint methodologies preferred.
Education/Experience:
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent training required.
