Job Description:

Business Development/Jr Sales Representative

 

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and prospect potential B2B customers within designated market segments using various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking.

2. Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage and track leads, schedule appointments, and coordinate product demonstrations.

3. Conduct cold outreach via SMS, calls, and email to engage prospects, qualify leads, and schedule appointments and demos.

4. Engage with existing leads through nurturing activities to re-ignite interest and convert them into sales opportunities.

5. Conduct initial discovery calls to grasp customer needs, pain points, and challenges, effectively articulating the value proposition of our SaaS product to key decision-makers.

6. Collaborate closely with the sales team to devise and execute targeted sales strategies, ensuring seamless lead handoff for further engagement.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead progress using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).

8. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to strategically position our product.

9. Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive overall business growth.

10. Provide actionable feedback to the marketing and product teams based on customer insights and market feedback, contributing to product enhancements and marketing campaigns.

11. This role includes travel for trade shows.

12. Drive sales success for small business leads and meet personal sales targets while undergoing training, starting with smaller deals and progressing towards larger closures.

 

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS business development or sales development within the software industry.

2. Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets and KPIs in a B2B environment.

3. Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with the ability to effectively identify and engage potential customers.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.

5. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic, organizational skills and positive attitude.

6. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.

7. Familiarity with CRM software, particularly HubSpot, and proficiency in lead and opportunity management.
