Opportunity:

1-Tom-Plumber is a fast-growing emergency plumbing company that provides services to both commercial and residential properties. We are looking for a motivated individual to help us aggressively expand into the Tulsa market.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth, profitability and leadership of the territory.

What is 1-Tom-Plumber?
1-Tom Plumber is a professional, service-focused, emergency drain clearing, water damage mitigation, and plumbing maintenance company providing services to both commercial and residential properties. We are new to town and this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales person to help build something from the ground up

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from LinkedIn, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, newspapers and other sources.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on prospects and regular customers to solicit orders or talks with prospects and customers by phone. Extensive cold calling required.
  • Discusses the benefits of working with 1-Tom-Plumber.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and signs commercial account agreements as needed.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM software.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Attends trade shows and other community events to develop leads.

Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in business-to-business sales. Sales management a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Familiar with CRM platforms.
  • Ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Self-starter.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
