  2. Evaluate market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to identify investment opportunities and risks.
  3. Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including company visits, management interviews, and industry conferences.
  4. Create detailed financial models and valuation frameworks to support investment theses and recommendations.
  5. Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to develop investment strategies and asset allocation decisions.
  6. Prepare written reports, presentations, and investment memoranda to communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  7. Monitor portfolio holdings and industry developments, providing timely updates and insights to support portfolio management decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA or progress towards CFA designation preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or related fields, with a focus on the consumer sector preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and findings clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in financial databases and research tools, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Capital IQ.
