Role Summary:

Utilize Your Expertise as a Payroll Analyst

In the role of Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive payroll processing and associated duties necessary for managing multi-state and multi-company biweekly payrolls. This includes:

  • Maintaining accurate payroll records.
  • Processing both voluntary and involuntary deductions.
  • Preparing financial transactions and documentation.
  • Documenting and updating payroll procedures.
  • Generating routine and special reports as requested by management.

Your contributions will be vital in the development, implementation, and documentation of payroll processes and controls that influence the company's financial statements. You will also assess the adequacy of these controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley principles, ensuring that financial statements are complete and accurate.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in payroll administration, particularly in complex payroll environments.
  • Proficient understanding of state and federal taxation laws and regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with corporate benefits policies and their application to payroll.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in generating and analyzing payroll reports.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Workday software.
Additional Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Analyst, you will also:

  • Provide expertise in payroll practices and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
