Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our small, collaborative business development team. The role will reporting directly to the VP of Client Engagement.

Role Overview:
As an SDR, your primary focus will be on inbound sales efforts with additional responsibilities related to marketing and account management support. Occasional travel may be required but this is primarily an inside sales role that may be done from a home office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for personal and professional growth and have experience in software development sales. Candidates with experience in SaaS sales, software development as a product manager, designer, or engineer will also be considered. This role offers a pathway to more advanced positions in sales or account management.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Research inbound leads.
  • Field initial contact, schedule and conduct introductory calls, and qualify leads.
  • Assist salespersons throughout the sales process for qualified, in-market leads.
    • Identify relevant case studies and sales assets.
    • Support packaging proposals and creating pitch decks.
  • Nurture leads not yet in-market. Actively identify and contact any who may now be in-market.
  • Conduct cold outreach on an as-needed basis.

Marketing & Account Management Support:

  • Curate and maintain a library of project artifacts and sales assets.
  • Support the creation and development of case studies, sales offers, and sales assets.
  • Assist in setting up and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Support preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews with clients.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong desire to continuously improve yourself and contribute to the growth of others.
  • Clear and professional business communication skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software development sales. Candidates with experience in SaaS sales, software development as a product manager, designer, or engineer will also be considered.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in researching, qualifying, and nurturing leads.
  • Experience in developing and managing sales assets and marketing materials.
  • Solid understanding of business development, sales processes, and account management.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Located in one of the following states: RI, MA, CT, NY, NJ, NC, SC, FL, CO, CA, UT, OR, PA, TN.
