FULL-TIME (hours per week: 40) M-F 6:30AM-3:30PM This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read and write on a high school level or higher
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and general computer operation is required.
  • Knowledge in maintaining records, documents and filing systems.
  • Mathematical ability sufficient to complete production related forms and timecards.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:  Experience working in a production setting.  Experience working with persons with disabilities.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be authorized for coverage under agency insurance if operating agency vehicle, have good driving record, valid driver’s license, and/or required level of personal auto insurance.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, per company requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with tact and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adequate ability in communicating in spoken conversation – adequate volume speech.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management and peers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:
Performs administrative support, including completion, quality review, and submission of timecards to payroll.  Gathers and organizes statistical data to fulfill various reporting requirements. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintains attendance, punctuality, payroll, production, and other required reports.
  • Prepares production related paperwork as required by internal guidelines and contract requirements.
  • Provides support, time permitting, as a Production Aid/Job Coach for Material Handler employees.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO THIS POSITION MAY INCLUDE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
  • Serves as a production aid/job coach in support of Material Handler employees.
  • Coordinates assignment of work to program participants.
  • Observes, reports and documents performance and behaviors of program participants.
  • Keeps all production areas organized in a safe and neat manner. 
  • Teaches proper safety procedures to program participants and demonstrates safe work habits.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Adequate ability for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.
  • Ability to be independently mobile on all surfaces and situations.
  • Ability to move safely about work area.
  • Ability to retrieve items from high and low areas.
  • Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and/or textures.
  • Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day.

EMOTIONAL CAPACITIES:
  • Must be able to change routine in a positive manner.
  • Must be able to follow through on assignments independently.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
