Hausmann has steadily matured into one of the region’s premier commercial general contracting, construction management, and design build firms. Our team is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Lincoln market to assist with all efforts associated with identifying, developing and maintaining relationships to continue growth in our identified markets.

This position will lead all aspects of business development through internal and external collaboration by developing strategies that identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients and partners. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Executive and Marketing teams to generate leads, develop growth strategies, increase the client base and create effective business and marketing strategies.

Essential duties and responsibilities related to the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with potential clients, existing clients, partners, industry professionals, and key decision makers to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop growth strategies and goals focused on exceeding customer expectations and ensuring continued growth and enhancement of the Hausmann Construction brand
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new markets, sectors, and partnership opportunities
  • Collect and analyze data to support key business decisions
  • Manage business development CRM database that provides essential content and measures the effectiveness of all business development activities
  • Provide regular and consistent business development progress to Hausmann management team and all other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing, graphic design, and communications teams as needed to create effective business and marketing strategies
  • Be on the forefront of market conditions and trends by representing Hausmann Construction at community events, trade shows, conferences, and other industry-associated activities
