Position Overview: The Inventory Control Lead is responsible for providing accurate inventory counts using count sheets, audits, and other reporting tools. Plan and execute efficient and accurate cycle counts and research and reconcile inventory as needed.

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Amount of Travel Involved: None.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times
  • Print count sheets and perform cycle counts daily.
  • Input daily counts into inventory management systems.
  • Research finished goods discrepancies.
  • Notify the Customer Account Rep’s of any discrepancies between what was counted vs the current inventory system.
  • Prepare/distribute finished goods inventory count sheets.
  • Follow inventory control SOP and assist warehouse in resolving issues.
  • Work with LTO’s in reconciling job allocations, cycle counts, shipments and receipts.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • All other duties as assigned. o Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each fundamental task listed above satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 years’ experience preferred.
  • Must be computer literate, experience with the following systems preferred: SAP, AS400, Avail, ILS, MS Office.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
