Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing the inventory management process for the Indianapolis Marion Cnty Bldg. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing requisitions, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving materials and tools.
  2. Process requisitions and work orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials and tools.
  3. Coordinate with vendors to obtain best prices and availability for parts and tools.
  4. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, requisitions, and work orders.
  5. Assist other departments as needed, providing support for maintenance and repair activities.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including inventory management systems.
Work Environment
  • This position requires work in an indoor building setting.
  • May require occasional travel to vendor locations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
