Position Description:

LCG is hiring for an Ivanti Desktop Engineer. This employee will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior technicians on the IT team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Offer leadership and strategic direction when engaging with executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate hands-on training sessions for all staff members on the Ivanti software, ensuring comprehensive understanding and usage.
  • Oversee software patches and upgrades on PCs to new versions of Windows.
  • Track and manage incidents, service requests, and changes using Ivanti Service Manager.
  • Lead the the team in maintaining Ivanti IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions and manage Ivanti Endpoint Manager.
  • Analyze reports in Ivanti and create/update knowledge base articles.
  • Perform regular audits of endpoint configurations and compliance using Ivanti.
  • Utilize scripting and automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard image used to deploy to desktops.
  • Manage configuration compliance for Windows endpoints.
  • Provide assistance to server team as needed in server image creation and deployment, software package creation and deployment, and server patching.
  • Act as final escalation point for end-user support and resolve technical issues related to the Windows environment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Support and working with Ivanti products and solutions.
  • Ivanti Certified Associate certification is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience providing mentorship and training.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and performing software patches.
  • Experience in deploying and managing software packages, updates, and patches using.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $84,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
