This position's duties include actions in Customer Order Entry, Materials Management, Human Resources, and Financial Management, all of which contribute to improved shop floor output and firm financial success.

This role is ideal for a growth-oriented individual with a financial and thorough business management attitude who wants and can develop.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A willingness and drive to learn and contribute in support of Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Manages invoicing, AR/AP, and banking.
  • Payroll, personal time off, insurance, and employee onboarding are all managed.
  • Accepts customer orders, checks price, and inputs them into the production system.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, Special Skills, and Knowledge

Education: 2 or 4-year Business degree and / or 2- or 4-year Engineering Degree is preferred.

Knowledge - Must have:

  • Excellent speech and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Self-motivation and effective team communication abilities.
  • Excel, email, and word processing skills are essential.

Comp: $40 70K DOE

Additional skills to make the candidate more attractive would include:

  • Experience in working with an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of machine shop equipment: CNC Mills, CNC lathes, CNC heat treat, and assembly.
  • Experience in responding to RFQ's.
  • Experience in procurement.
  • Office Manager experience

The client manufactures components and assemblies using Swiss CNC, CNC Turning & Machining, Screw Machining, Thread Rolling, Grinding, Fabrication, and other techniques. Client employs fifteen workers at its 44,000-square-foot property in Clarksville, Tennessee.
