Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will focus primarily on managing payroll, benefits administration, paid time off (PTO), and ensuring compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ideal candidate will have experience using Paylocity and will collaborate closely with other HR team members to ensure seamless HR operations and transitions.


Key Responsibilities


Payroll Management

• Process and manage weekly payroll using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Maintain payroll records, including salary changes, deductions, and tax withholdings.

• Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies.

• Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Benefits Administration

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

• Coordinate open enrollment processes and facilitate employee education sessions on benefits options.

Paid Time Off (PTO) Management

• Track and manage employee PTO requests, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Provide employees and managers with guidance on PTO policies and accruals.

• Update and maintain accurate PTO records in the HRIS system.

ACA Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by tracking and reporting on employee eligibility and coverage.

• Prepare and submit ACA-related documentation and filings as required.

• Monitor changes in ACA regulations and update company policies accordingly.

HR Support and Collaboration

• Collaborate with HR team members to support various HR initiatives and projects.

• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Provide support for employee relations issues and performance management processes.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration.

• Proficiency in using Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll systems.

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, benefits administration, and ACA compliance.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.


Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Human resources or related field. .

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

• Experience in conducting employee training and education sessions on HR-related topics.

• Familiarity with other HR functions, such as recruitment and employee engagement.
