Position Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for efficiently preparing and shipping all outgoing materials, maintaining an inventory of packaging materials, and supporting incoming deliveries as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products are packaged and shipped according to customer and company standards.
  • Review shipping bills and carrier forms to confirm accurate shipping data and charges.
  • Prepare packages for international customers and group companies.
  • Manage and document incoming shipments for the service team.
  • Maintain and reorder packaging materials as needed.
  • Handle general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock and inventory areas.
  • Perform other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of logistics.
  • Preferred experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge of packaging techniques and materials for fragile items.
  • Familiarity with transportation carrier procedures and documentation.
  • Knowledge of shipping tariffs.
  • Ability to lift and move large boxes using a walk-behind forklift.
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs. (75 lbs. with assistance), and walk daily
