ANDRITZ Metals USA Inc. - Soutec in Novi, Michigan is seeking an Inside Sales Representative. ANDRITZ Soutec is the worldwide leading manufacturer of high-tech welding systems. Our modular, high-quality welding systems feature a substantial grade of automation with a multitude of motion axes, drives, and sensors, used by our customers for the precision manufacture of sheet metal designs in the discerning automotive market.

Education and Experience

· 2+ years experience in inside sales required

· 2+ years SAP order processing experience required

· PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency required

· Excellent written and oral communication skills required

· Associates degree a plus

· Experience working in a technical / engineering environment a plus

· Shipping / receiving experience a plus

Responsibilities

· Build rapport and lasting connections with our customers and our affiliates.

· Act as intermediary between our local customers and our parent company Soutec AG in Switzerland.

· Receive and keep track of inquiries.

· Generate quotes.

· Enter and process orders.

· Coordinate inbound deliveries with internal and external suppliers, ensure timely delivery.

· Inspect incoming goods and enter receipt.

· Generate shipping papers.

· Coordinate outbound shipments.

· Assist w/invoicing (corporate function)

· Assist w/collection issues (corporate function)

· Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner. Follow-up to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

· Provide general administrative support as needed.
