We are currently seeking a qualified individuals for part-time Box Office Associate positions for the Orpheum, State and Pantages Theatres.


Please note - This role has an hourly rate that starts at $17.17/hour for a six-month probationary period. After six months, the hourly rate will increase to $17.68/hour.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in Box Office window selling tickets to customers and providing accurate information on a variety of subjects relating to shows, facilities, related resources, and theatre and ticketing policies; answers phone inquiries in a polite, courteous manner
  • Utilize multiple software systems to sell tickets to diverse customers, for a wide variety of events at three unique venues, while providing welcoming and memorable customer service
  • Assist subscribers with their needs pertaining to their season subscription
  • Provide positive and instructive technical and customer service support for other Box Office Associates by answering questions, and assisting them on the Ticketmaster system and the Archtics system
  • Oversee the daily upkeep of the Box Office including accurate filing, regular cleaning, and archiving past show and operational materials
  • Maintain adequate supply inventory for the Box Office
  • Track and maintain lost and found items in accordance with standard Box Office policy
  • Accept deliveries and move packages as necessary
  • Accurately perform routine duties related to opening the Box Offices (e.g. counting banks, unlocking doors, turning on lights etc.) in accordance with standard practice
  • Accurately perform duties related to closing the Box Offices (e.g. running reports, locking doors, locking files, transporting deposits, etc.) in accordance with standard practice
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, return from breaks on time
  • Maintain appropriate appearance and wears complete uniform during all scheduled work hours;
  • Consistently display a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers, supervisors, cast members, and shows
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Proven strong customer service experience required
  • Previous experience handling cash required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Basic mathematical competency and cash counting
  • Requires using personal mobile device for 2-factor authentication app
  • Box Office/Ticketing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster Host and Archtics software strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
