About the Role

The Minnesota Orchestra is seeking a highly skilled Ticket Services Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Audience Services department, you will be responsible for supervising ticket sales and customer service representatives, providing support over the phone or at the box office for Orchestra performances and other events at Orchestra Hall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise ticket sales and customer service representatives to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Provide support over the phone or at the box office for Orchestra performances and other events.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests, vendors, clients, employees, and volunteers.
Requirements
  • Experience as a supervisor or lead in a ticket sales, guest services, retail sales, or call center environment.
  • Experience using a computer-based system for managing in-bound calls, ticketing, POS, or other related systems.
  • Experience with managing guest transactions (cash, credit cards, or check).
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, sufficient to calculating ticket pricing, making change, or other related functions.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing a call queue and working with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
  • Fluency in Spanish is helpful, but not required.
