State Credit Union is seeking Spanish/English speaking bilingual applicants for a Full Time Member Service Representative located in a phone center environment. As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our members.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive incoming member calls, determine the nature of their request, and either process the request or direct the call to the appropriate person or department for assistance.
  • Process member transaction requests;
  • Answer member account inquiries. Performs basic error corrections on accounts.
  • Cross-sell products and services as well as strive to meet goals for service, quality, and productivity of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual in both the Spanish and English language and have professional communication skills.
  • Applicants should have at least 1 year customer service experience. Experience in a financial institution preferred.
  • Candidates are required to be well organized, have the ability to efficiently multi-task, possess good computer skills, and be able to consistently handle difficult member issues.

All applicants must prove to be proficient in speaking the Spanish language in order to be considered, as a minimum requirement. Bilingual written communication is a plus.
