Leads the reporting and optimization of inventory working capital thru advanced data analytics, cross-functional project management, and process improvements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own Inventory Working Capital report-outs and related project management.
  • Lead weekly Quality of Inventory reporting and collaborative calls to root cause and mitigate product shortages and excess inventory positions.
  • Lead quarterly review of inventory settings across plants based on volume, volatility, and run strategy
  • Drive slow-moving and obsolete inventory management strategies (demand shaping, liquidation, recycling, and/or write-off).
  • Support product management efforts by coordinating ramp-up and ramp-down Inventory plans and leading master data maintenance resolutions
  • Support consigned inventory management and policy
  • Understand and optimize product redundancy through relabeling or delayed differentiation
  • Support Scheduling / PSI planning advancements + plant run strategies
  • Support advanced analytics and develop strategy related to inventory segmentation, lead-time differentiation, dynamic sourcing, and what-if scenario planning
  • Partner with full Surface Solutions business unit to become a premier building solutions provider
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or Economics is preferred
  • 3 years+ previous work experience in Planning/Scheduling or similar supply chain roles
  • Must exemplify our cultural behaviors and mindsets – customer-centricity, interconnectedness, & continuous improvement
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications necessary; experience with supply chain systems (JDE, ToolsGroup SO99, Anaplan) is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across all-levels of the organization, including routine executive report-outs
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills; ability to strategically prioritize work, facilitate effective decision making, and drive results
  • Knowledgeable of supply chain and demand management theory; able to work with big data to extract insights and actions; able to support tool development and advance automation
  • Position is remote but must be willing to travel up to 15% (to domestic manufacturing and office sites)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $120,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
