Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for supply chain improvements, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of inventory control specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The Materials Management Supervisor will work in a normal office environment, with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor and other company facilities. The position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
