Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client is searching for an Inventory Specialist for their company in Northwest Houston.  The salary range is $24-$25 per hour.   

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Creating in-transit documents and tracking materials.
  • Answering questions from the sales and operations teams.
  • Tracking the accounts payable associated with inbound material.
  • Inventory management – tracking ETA's, matching packing lists to POs, POs to invoices, etc.
  • Receiving inventory.
  • Preparing spreadsheets in excel for vendors.
  • Assist in coordinating inbound shipments, coordinating with storage facilities.
  • Position requires a lot of detail, tracking and coordination behind the scenes.

 

Requirements:

  • Prior background and understanding in receiving and inventory.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and detail.
  • Desire to dig in and learn.
  • Customer Service oriented; ability to establish rapport with vendors and clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
