Job Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator at Whaling City Auto Group is responsible for promoting and expanding the company's sales efforts in the auto industry. This individual will work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the auto industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong drive to achieve sales goals.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targeted sales goals
• Identify and research potential new business opportunities in the auto industry
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through regular communication
• Coordinate with the sales team to create and distribute marketing materials and sales pitches
• Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales progress and market trends
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure a cohesive approach to business development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
• Travel as needed for client meetings and events
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the auto industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Willingness to travel as needed
