Job Description
A health organization in Camden, NJ is looking for a full time Lead Patient Accounts Representative to join their growing team. This position is on-site 5 days a week. You will act as the primary contact for assigned CBO Patient Account vendors, follow up to resolve active and bad debt account balances, and analyze accounts receivable to identify potential issues. You will be expected to interact with all levels of staff and management and serve as the liaison between the internal team and its providers to try to resolve the issues and discrepancies. You will not manage the claims team but are expected to work closely and communicate with the team.
The position is full time M-F. 40 hours. 8.5 hours in office during normal business hours from 7am-5pm. Lunch, morning, and afternoon breaks are paid.
Pay rate: $20-25/hr (based on experience)
Location: Camden, NJ
Required
1) 4+ years of hospital billing experience
2) Ability to build reports and analyze data in Microsoft Excel
3) Problem solving, organization, and communication skills
