Job Summary:

Greenlane is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Sales Operations Specialist to join our sales leadership team. In this strategic role, you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing our sales processes, ensuring a data-driven and efficient sales engine that fuels business success.


This role will report into the VP of Business Development


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the sales operations function, including CRM management, forecasting, territory planning, and sales enablement.
  • Partner with sales leadership to develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement process improvements to streamline sales workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive sales dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to sales leadership and the executive team.
  • Manage and mentor junior sales operations team members.
  • Stay up to date on the latest sales methodologies and technologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and support overall sales objectives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree plus 5 years of experience in a Sales Operations role
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales performance through process optimization and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and best practices
  • Expertise in CRM software (Salesforce experience highly preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot tables and formulas) and PowerPoint is required.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
