Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Operations Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field logistics, employee scheduling, and some purchasing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Management:
● Coordinate the transportation of equipment, chemicals, and other materials to and from our water treatment facilities.● Ensure timely delivery of supplies to meet operational requirements.● Maintain accurate records of field inventory levels and manage replenishment orders as needed.● Manage and dispatch any equipment rentals.
2. Employee Scheduling:
● Develop and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for all operational activities.● Coordinate with team leaders to allocate resources effectively and address any scheduling conflicts.● Track employee hours and manage time-off requests.● Arrange lodging accommodations for employees working out of town.
3. Continuous Improvement:
● Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the operations department.● Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives company-wide.
4. Purchasing:
● Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for operations and warehouse.● Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.● Approval of vendor invoices
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field experience preferred.● Proven experience in operations coordination, logistics management, or related roles within the oil and gas industry.● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.● Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software applications.● Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the oilfield industry.● Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
